Colourful free activities return to Canary Wharf this April 2023
In April, Canary Wharf will be bringing back free activities, which will include a mini-golf course created by Craig & Karl, and table tennis tables designed by Art of Ping Pong.
Canary Wharf's free, colourful 9-hole minigolf course, designed by the art duo Craig & Karl, is reopening on 6 April for a second year. The course is open every day from 12-6 pm and offers free play for families, friends, and colleagues looking for some fun and friendly competition. It features various bright novel elements, such as a neon orange jump ramp and a pink and yellow chequered bridge, which incorporate graphic patterns, vivid polka dots, and bold geometric shapes into a one-of-a-kind course.
In addition to the minigolf course, several playful table tennis tables designed by Art of Ping Pong are available year-round in Montgomery and Union Square for healthy lunch break competition or weekend family tournaments. These tables add to the number of free activities on offer at Canary Wharf, which includes London's largest collection of outdoor public art, with over 100 pieces dotted around the estate.
Visitors can also enjoy free reading materials from the Short Story Stations or follow the Children's Art Trail for a free family day out. After playing, visitors can explore the surrounding area's 300 restaurants, bars, and stores across five shopping malls for an unmissable day out.
The free Canary Wharf app offers visitors, workers, and residents information on upcoming events, discounts, offers, and the ability to buy tickets, RSVP, and check-in to events.
