Serpentine Galleries announce the return of Park Nights 2023
Serpentine Galleries Park Nights returns with a program of art, music, performance, dance, and poetry throughout August to October.
Park Nights makes its triumphant return to the Serpentine – serving as a vibrant platform for experimental, interdisciplinary art – set against the backdrop of the 22nd Serpentine Pavilion, a masterpiece envisioned by Lina Ghotmeh. This event brings together artists from diverse fields, offering a dynamic fusion of rave music, performance installations, poetry, and dance. Park Nights will be held from August through October. The Living and the Dead Ensemble
The Ensemble will showcase The Wake, a performance installation set in a world consumed by turmoil – earthquakes, fires, and unrest. This performance, by a collective of artists, performers, and poets from Haiti, France, and the UK, offers a fragmented geography reborn. It serves as both a call and a fiery manifesto for a potential future, exploring history and the present from a Caribbean perspective.

Castiel Vitorino Brasileiro
Visual artist, writer, and psychologist Castiel Vitorino Brasileiro presents a performance and installation exploring ritual, dance, and celebration in Afro-Brazilian and Western cultures. Collaborating with artists from various backgrounds, Brasileiro delves into dance as a healing practice that connects interspecific spirituality and different life forms. This work is part of the Third World exhibition, accompanied by a video game and Web3 tokens at Serpentine North.

Producer and DJ Bambii
Musical Night with Bambii renowned Producer and DJ Bambii from Toronto takes centre stage, offering an evening of music that traverses genres, embodying the essence of dance and rave culture. Bambii's sets forge connections across individuals, cultures, and spaces, celebrating the expansive influence of Black diasporic dance music.

Christelle Oyiri
Live Record Presentation Paris-based artist, filmmaker, and DJ Christelle Oyiri, also known as CRYSTALLMESS, presents a live preview of her upcoming record. Collaborating with invited artists and musical guests, Oyiri engages with collective memory through forgotten and familiar mythologies, be they ancient or modern. Her multifaceted approach weaves together visual and musical elements.
