Experience the magic of Christmas as Christmas at Kew returns this November with spectacular new installations.
Kew Gardens is set to light up the holiday season with Christmas at Kew, their charming festive light trail returning this November. This event will showcase the natural beauty of Kew Gardens under the night sky, featuring both beloved attractions and exciting new installations, promising a magical Christmas experience.
This year's additions bring a fresh excitement to the event. Among the new highlights are Lili by TILT, featuring towering illuminated flowers; Trapezoid by ArtAV, making a return with its longest light tunnel at Kew to date; and more than 400 cascading lights illuminating Camellia Walk. The Hive, a modern beehive artwork, will feature in the trail for the first time with 1,000 LED lights recreating life inside a beehive. Creative studio Pitaya will showcase brand new candles lantern displays, adding to the festive ambiance.
Christmas at Kew also reintroduces beloved features, including the enchanting Christmas Cathedralβa twinkling tunnel of lightβand the newly designed Fire Garden, adorned with 300 candles illuminating the path to the Temperate House. The Palm House and the lake come alive with beautiful light displays, accompanied by a delightful playlist of Christmas classics. Visitors can relish scrumptious traditional Christmas dinners at The Botanical Brasserie and indulge in favourite treats from independent street food vendors.
Christmas at Kew is a fantastic way to kick off the Christmas season. Alongside this, Kew's wild botanic garden in Sussex, Wakehurst, will host Glow Wild, boasting ten new installations and hand-crafted lanterns, making for an unmissable winter lantern trail.
