Hidden in the heart of Hackney, the Dalston Curve Garden, once the Eastern Curve Railway, underwent a significant transformation in 2010. Crafted in partnership by architects Muf, landscape experts J&L Gibbons, Hackney Council, local residents, and community groups, this sanctuary emerged as a vibrant community garden, addressing the scarcity of green spaces in Dalston.

The garden boasts diverse plant life, meticulously tended by an in-house team and volunteers, nurturing a thriving ecosystem and supporting local wildlife. Its assortment of trees, shrubs, perennials, and vibrant blooms provide a haven for bees and butterflies.

Distinctive structures such as the timber pavilion crafted by Exyzt, the Pineapple House conservatory, and a stage envisioned by Morag Myerscough serve as vibrant cultural hubs. Beyond its tranquil setting, Dalston Eastern Curve Garden's Garden Cafe offers beverages, seasonal soups from garden-grown produce, homemade cakes, and wood-fired pizzas, each purchase directly supporting the garden's growth, educational programs, and community events.
