This year, La Terrasse becomes the ultimate destination to experience Wimbledon in style. From Tuesday 8 July to Sunday 13 July, the terrace will screen all the key matches, including the Quarter Finals through to the Finals. While the tennis plays out, guests can enjoy seasonal highlights like Annabel’s Deliciously British Strawberries & Cream, a traditional summer classic given an elegant twist, alongside cocktails designed with the tournament in mind.

During our visit, we immersed ourselves in the Riviera inspired setting and sampled a range of dishes that perfectly captured the spirit of summer. We began with the Asparagus with Gribiche and Crostini, light and zesty, it set a fresh and flavourful tone. The Tiger Prawns with Maître d’Hôtel Butter were rich and succulent, cooked with precision and paired with a classic French herbed butter. Another standout was the Scallop with Potato Foam, Piment d’Espelette and Preserved Lemon, a beautifully plated dish with layers of delicate warm spice and creamy texture.

On the side, we enjoyed the Légumes Verts, a buttery mix of seasonal greens finished with a crunchy buckwheat crumble, and the truffle and parmesan fries, which were perfectly crispy, and impossible to resist.

To round off our meal, we had the tart of the day, a deliciously buttery apricot tart, alongside the quintessential Wimbledon treat, Annabel’s Deliciously British Strawberries & Cream, which delivered on both nostalgia and indulgence.

The cocktails were a clear highlight of our visit. The De Provence, made with GREY GOOSE, rosé, raspberry, citrus and soda, was light, floral, and perfect for a sunny afternoon. À la Pêche brought together GREY GOOSE, Crème de Pêche, St Germain, citrus, and peach and jasmine soda in a much needed summery mix. We also tried the Mont Blanc Martini, a crisp alpine inspired blend of GREY GOOSE Altius, dry vermouth and orange bitters, a drink that felt refined and refreshing in equal measure.
