The very best of online workouts
Attention road runners, weightlifters and Pilates lovers! The gyms might be still be closed but that doesn’t mean your physical health has to suffer – and no your only option isn’t Joe Wicks. We’ve scoured the internet for some of the best online platforms that are offering workouts to get your heart racing and that blood pumping.
Don’t forget that many of your usual gyms also have online platforms, with many fitness fanatics making use of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. YouTube is actually one of the best places to get free fitness videos, with our favourite fitness personalities, including Yoga with Adrienne and Grace Fit, uploading regular workouts that you can follow along with for free. Looking for something a bit different? Don’t worry… FLO has you covered.
Bobby’s Bakery
#FLODown: Looking for an intense workout that doesn’t take up hours of your time? Join Bobby’s Bakery at 11am from Monday to Thursday for an intense no-equipment HIIT workout involving a range of high octane moves. The sessions last between 30 and 40 minutes and will have you gasping for breath by the end.
Don’t worry if you’re stuck in a Zoom meeting when the workout starts, Bobby uploads them to his website afterwards so you can fit your burpees and bear squats around your schedule. The best bit? The workouts are only 75p a session.

Pop Sugar
#FLODown: Explore Pop Sugar, a female lifestyle brand that attracts over 300 million readers every month. Alongside uploading great content on areas including health, fitness and parenting, Pop Sugar has a range of workouts for you to try, all free of charge, on their website, including yoga, strength training and HIIT workouts.
This week, they’ve even uploaded a workout to Olivia Rodrigo’s track, Drivers Licence, allowing you to get fit while listening to one of the catchiest songs of 2021.

Yoga Anytime
#FLODown: Get access to more than 29,000 yoga and meditation videos for just £14 a month with Yoga Anytime. Sessions include healing and restorative practices, shows dedicated to building self-awareness as well as beginners’ classes, meaning the platform is perfect for everyone at any ability.
Yoga Anytime offers a 15-day free trial and the option to cancel easily at any time, which is great if you’re planning to get back into the studio once you’re able to.
With over 110 teachers, the platform has something for everyone. There’s also a dedicated page for the teachers so you can learn a bit more about them and their interests.

Livestrong Woman
#FLODown: Limited on time? Livestrong Woman offers a range of workouts, many of which are just 10 minutes. If you’re trying to sneak a quick session in before meeting that deadline, this could be the perfect option for you.
Their YouTube channel features a huge range of low impact workouts, yoga and HIIT sessions plus many other styles. There are also several longer sessions if you find you have a bit more time on your hands, but these are especially perfect for those with busy lifestyles who want to get into shape.

Courtney Black
#FLODown: Join Courtney Black, a personal trainer who’s created an app filled with more workouts than you’ll ever need.
Starting at £15.99 a month, the CB Fitness App gives you access to real-time workouts, recipes that are suitable for all dietary requirements as well as personalised plans so you can participate in workouts that will help you meet your fitness goals.

Beachbody On Demand
#FLODown: Offering over 1,500+ workouts, Beachbody On Demand has something, no matter what you’re into. Whether you want to tone up, lose some weight or simply stop being out of breath walking up the stairs, there are numerous programmes to choose from. The most popular ones include Shaun T’s Insanity workouts, 21 Day Fix Real Time and 10 Rounds.
You’ll also have access to customisable meal plans which will give you all the energy you need to conquer your workouts day in, day out.
You can also use the Beachbody On Demand App on your Apple or Android device if this is your preferred way to workout.

Camp Fit!
#FLODown: Intense workouts aren’t for everyone. So, if you’re looking for something that goes easier on your knees and don’t compromise your hair one day after washing it, join Carl Harrison every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 10am for Camp Fit!, a programme which brands itself as being ‘equipment free, judgement free and actually a FREE online workout’.
Carl’s 45-minute classes involve a mixture of aerobics and dance moves to a range of disco tunes – perfect if you’ve got children at home that you’re trying to entertain. You won’t need any equipment and if you can’t make the designated times, you can also find the workouts on Carl’s social media channels.

Fitness Blender
#FLODown:Trying not to splash the cash? Fitness Blender has lots of online videos led by a husband and wife team. From lower body workouts through to core strengthening sessions, there are also a number that are free to view, they will all leave you feeling accomplished. They’re also equipment-free so you don’t have to worry about fighting for the last set of dumbbells from Amazon!
