Where to watch the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London

The 2024 Paris Olympics run from 26 July to 11 August, with the Paralympics from 30 August to 8 September. Londoners will benefit from Paris being just one hour ahead, allowing for convenient viewing at reasonable hours. Here are some locations in London where you can watch the Olympics this summer.

Official Team GB Fan Zones

London will host several Fanzones for the Olympics, including Battersea Power Station, King's Cross (Lewis Cubitt Square), and Mayfair. These Fanzones will open from 26 July to 11 August, featuring big screen sporting action, live DJ sets, Olympic-themed activities, and onstage entertainment, including Q&As and medal celebrations with Team GB athletes. Entry is free to each of the locations and no ticket is required.

King’s Cross Fan Zone

#FLODown: The Fanzone at King's Cross, presented by Eurostar and in collaboration with Team GB, the Greater London Authority, and Argent, will offer a variety of activities. The zone will feature live music, DJ sets, and onstage events. Visitors can join Olympic-themed workshops in sports like skateboarding, judo, and rowing, and attend Q&A sessions with Team GB athletes from the Paris Olympics.

Battersea Power Station Fan Zone

#FLODown: The Official Team GB Battersea Power Station Fan Zone is free to enter and will showcase exciting highlights from the Paris 2024 Olympics. But that's not all - the fan zone will also host a jam-packed calendar of family-friendly activities, featuring a 100m running track, table tennis, climbing wall, fast feet football, cycle speed racing, fitness classes, and many more surprises!

Grosvenor Square, Mayfair Fan Zone

#FLODown: The Grosvenor Square Team GB Fanzone in Mayfair will offer free live screenings of the 2024 Paris Olympics daily from 8am to 9pm. Located near Bond Street station and Oxford Street, it will feature family-friendly activities from 2 - 4 August, including mini-Olympics, face painting, and crafts. On 2 August, you can meet the Team GB mascot, and on 3 August, have a photo with gold medallist Shona McCallin.

Old Royal Naval College’s Summer Big Screen

#FLODown: The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich will host free outdoor live screenings of the Olympics from 26 July to 11 August. Visitors can enjoy views of the Thames, a scenic setting, and access to food stalls and The Old Brewery pub.

Bishops Square, Spitalfields

#FLODown: Continuing their summer of sports screenings, Bishops Square will feature all the Olympic action from 26 July to 11 August and the Paralympic action from 28 August to 8 September. Free deckchairs are provided, along with the opportunity to enjoy a variety of food from nearby restaurants, cafes, and street food stalls at Spitalfields Market.

Hammersmith Summer Festival

#FLODown:The Big Screen in Lyric Square will offer free daily screenings of the Paris Olympic Games from July 26 to August 11. On August 6, enjoy a family-friendly, Olympics-inspired sports day organised by the Chelsea FC Foundation.

Lower Marsh, Waterloo

#FLODown: Waterloo's reputation as a hub for skaters will be highlighted on August 6, when the skateboarding Olympic finals will be screened as part of the Lower Marsh Summer of Sports festival. Additionally, other finals, including women's 200m and men's 1,500m events, will also be screened.

Summer in the Square, Marylebone

#FLODown: The Summer in the Square event in Marylebone is being extended to August and will feature "Games In The Garden" screenings of the Paris Olympics. From August 7-11, attendees can watch the Olympics on a big screen in Portman Square Garden while enjoying deck chairs, street food stalls, and a Guest Kitchen featuring local restaurants serving a variety of cuisines.

Summer Screens, Canary Wharf

Olympic Games and Paralympics will be screened at Canada Square in Canary Wharf.

#FLODown: The Summer of Screens at Canary Wharf will feature live coverage of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games from 26 July to 8 September. The Olympic coverage kicks off with a screening of the opening ceremony at 5.45pm on 26 July, with daily broadcasts of the world's top athletes in action.

Summer by the River

Olympic and Paralympics games will be on show at The scoop overlooking the Thames.

#FLODown: Catch live screenings of the Olympic and Paralympic Games at The Scoop from 26 July to 8 September, with views overlooking the Thames. Enjoy the excitement while savouring delicious food and drinks from pop-up bars, including cocktails, Shawarma Bros' wraps, and Burger Bros' burgers.

St James's Market

#FLODown: St James’s Market is hosting free outdoor screenings of the Paralympics from 28. August - 8 September 2024. Visitors can watch the games on a big screen while relaxing in deck chairs. The National Paralympic Heritage Trust is also presenting an exhibition, ‘The Story of the Games’, at the Pavilion until 13 September, showcasing Paralympic history. Additional family-friendly events include a meet-and-greet with Paralympian Helene Rayford, as well as a Family Fun Day featuring arts and crafts, boccia taster sessions, and displays of Paralympic memorabilia.
