LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair returns to London this October
London’s premier art and antiques fair is back this October with over 80 world-class exhibitors and exciting new fringe events.
The LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair, London’s leading art and antiques event, returns to Mayfair from 23 - 27 October. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the LAPADA Association, this year’s edition promises an extraordinary showcase of art, antiques, design, and craftsmanship, attracting collectors and enthusiasts alike, just ahead of the festive season.
With over 80 top-tier exhibitors, the 2024 fair will feature an array of fine art, jewellery, sculpture, and rare antiquities. Highlights include a Monet masterpiece, Maison à travers les roses, presented by Gallery V, alongside historic treasures such as a rare vanity box once belonging to Queen Victoria’s Mistress of the Robes. The fair will also feature a creative partnership with Fromental, known for their luxurious hand-painted wallpapers, who are set to unveil an exciting display for the venue’s exterior, celebrating the history and beauty of the square itself.
New for 2024 is the LAPADA Fringe, a cultural programme extending the fair’s reach across Mayfair. Highlights include a recital at the Handel Hendrix House, private art tours at Brown’s Hotel, an exclusive event at the iconic Heywood Hill bookshop, and a collaboration with Tamarind Mayfair for a curated dining experience. This new addition aims to showcase Mayfair’s cultural richness, offering visitors a deeper connection to the area’s artistic heritage.
Freya Simms, Chief Executive of LAPADA, expects this year’s edition to be the most dynamic yet, with its diverse offerings appealing to both seasoned collectors and newcomers. The LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair continues to be a key event in London’s international art calendar and will provide an excellent finale to a busy October of prominent art fairs and high-profile exhibitions throughout London.
Date: 23 - 27 October 2024. Preview Day: 22 October 2024. Location: Berkeley Square, Mayfair. lapadalondon.
