Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, Kalifornia Kitchen operates on the ethos ‘ Healthy is sexy’ and are free of animal products or harmful plastics. What are banana blossoms?
Banana Blossoms commonly found in Southeast Asia, it is also known as the ‘banana heart’ or ‘banana flower. The banana blossom is a tear-shaped, purpled coloured flowers, which grows at the end of a banana fruit cluster. They are frequently used in salads and soups, and with a texture similar to fish it is often covered in battered and presented as a plant-based substitute to fish.
